(Blood red sun because of the fires over here)

Skipped my art history class this past tuesday(I know, I know...second class of the sem and I already skipped class), but it was for a damn good reason: To see SPAMALOT!!!

Bought the tickets a few months back and got 2nd row seats, f*ing amazing!

Stopped by Olivera Street to get some awesome taquitos..

(Wearing: Vena Cava for Gap Dress (almost sold this 'cuz didn't have any where to wear it to); McQ for Target Cardigan; Acne Atacoma Metal Wedges)

The show was AMAZING and FUNNY! Too bad they're run is ending soon in LA, but they're next stop is San Diego, so get your tickets while you can!

Look who we met after the show (sorry for the crappy pics)

feels like learning how to walk again

Its been a busy past week. Just spent the past weekend at Warped Tour. But the Friday before, my friend apparently had free tickets for a Ghost Tour in Old Town San Diego...probably the most boring 2 hours of my life, but we did manage to get some cool night pics:

(Wearing: Kate Moss for Topshop Fringe Jacket; Jonathan Saunders for Target tunic/top; Express shorts; Jeffrey Campbell Corset Boots)

Sadly, we did not find any ghosts...just a lot of pretty pretty light trails....

The next day....

Started school this week. Its been about 3 years since I was back in school and I'm still trying to adjust (and stop procastinating). This is what I wore to my art history class:

(Rogan for Target shirt; thrifted and altered blazer; Zara shorts; Jeffrey Campbell Boots)

Soo... I was browsing around at our local American Apparel and one of the employees is apparently starting a fashion magazine and asked if I would like to be involved as a graphic designer...we'll see how that goes.

aannnd..these lovelies are finally here!!!

ok..gotta start saving, got a mortgage to pay now :(

somedays I just hate UPS

Sooo...UPS tried to delivery the ACNE Atacomas that I ordered, but not before saying I owed $185 in brokerage fees!! So I sent in back. While wallowing in despair over not getting my beloved wedges, I came across this on brownsfashion.com

WOOOTT!! The Metal Version!! Gettem while you can!!
Just hoping DHL doesn't charge as high for customs fees

OMG....

Soo...almost everyone in the blogosphere has been lusting over the Acne Atacoma Metal Wedges, including yours truly.
While procrastinating at work, I came across this: Acne Atacoma in Black

Also, while randomly browsing urbanoutfitters, this little alexander wang look-alike came up:

there goes my warped tour $$....

.....well hello.....lover....

The past few days have kinda sucked. Woke up with a stiff neck, and its just been getting worse. Ended up buying 2 of the same thing from ebay (I thought one of the sellers was going to decline my best offer, but they took it >_x)...however while nursing my neck and browsing the August Free People Catalogue, I came across this:

Oh yeah!! The Jeffrey Campbell-Chloe Susan Look-alikes!!! They're called Northern lights and you can get them here
I scooped them up in a heartbeat (in black). Can't wait for them to get here!! XD. Get yours before they run out!!!!! They're also available in white and brown.

Procrastinating when I should be drawing

Still editing a few pics from SDCC 09....its been taking so long because of the evil, evil distraction that is the internet. So here are the thing's I wish I had if I had money and were a few seasons back
1. Alexander Wang Denim Corset
2. Alexander Wang Wool/Leather blend jacket
3. Chloe Susan stud boots
4. Chloe Doc Marten-style boots (I really want the low cut in red)
5. Proenza Schouler PS1 (in Black)

..back, but still loving you

ok, ok..just got back from SDCC 2009! Awesome! Got to meet the cast of True Blood (and had them sign my DVD box); got to watch Adam Hughes and Jim Lee Do a How-to session and of course managed to grab a ton of semi-useful swag. Will post pics later.

But first, saw this pic at Jeffrey Campbell's Blog. O_O!!!! Can anyone see the Chloe Susan ankle boots??? OMG!! Can't wait. According to the post, this is part of their fall collection.

MUST..START..STALKING.....

Jeffrey Campbell, I love you...

Lately, I've been obsessing over Jeffrey Campbell shoes. They make the best designer "inspired" shoes and for less.
I posted earlier about the 'Anne' lace up heels.
Today, the UPS man dropped off a large box with 2 of my latest JC acquisitions: Potion and Photo

Knowing that JC makes comfortable wedges, I decided to wear the Photo out today to run errands:

(Wearing: JC photo booties, DIY one shoulder batman tee; military vest-modcloth; f21 shorts)

Found this awesome grey denim-like moto jacket at H&M.

Leggy leggings

I've been on the lookout for these leggings since I saw them on kingdomofstyle:

(stolen girlfriend's club bandage leggings)

Sadly, they are all sold out (and a bit pricey for a pair of leggings)

So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw a similar pair at bebe!

and here they are:

Very thick and well made, I'm sure I'll be wearing it out a lot come fall/winter

Finally got around to wearing the DIY le sac dress me and my friend made:

(DIY Le Sac Dress, Steve Madden Banglez Sandals, UO necklace, Leather cuff from Venice Beach)

ZOMG! Shoes.....and alexander wang

Been busy this past week, getting ready for comic-con. But a few nice things came my way:

THE minimarket boots!! Found them in red for half the price at scoutthestore. Didn't even know they made them in red. So rad.

Finally got my hands on these Emma Cook for Topshop boots.
Saw her fall collection, so far, not impressed. But these are classic!

Also ordered these Jeffrey Campbell Boots from davidz.com: JC Photo and Potion Boots.

Aaaannd, finally caved in, and bought THE Alexander Wang Jacke (on sale too!) Can't wait to wear it at comic-con. (although my bro thinks it looks weird). The suede is so soft. The only thing I would have liked is if they added buttons to keep the front of the jacket from flapping around.
